International Gala-Concert of operetta stars
Traditionally during the festive days of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of March theatre invites you to enjoy program of International Gala-Concert “All for women…”
Soloists from Hungary will perform again on our stage: audience favorite duet of Zsuzsa Kalocsai and Zsolt Vadasz, brilliant duet of Mara Kekkovach and Karoly Peller, and captivating Marcela Cerno from Austria. For the first time on our stage will perform leading soloists from Slovakia – Dominika Doniga and Simon Svitok.
In the gala program will be presented parts from works by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar, Emmerich Kalman, Carl Millocker and other operetta masters. For the first time will be performed parts of famous musicals Richard Rodgers “The Sound of Music” and Frederick Loewe “My Fair Lady”.

Collaboration with company “Consource”
Research-and-production company “Consource” showed itself on Russian and international market by high-technology researches in the field of light-emitting diode displays of new generation took part in preparation of anniversary theatre week.
Company “Consource” continuously took part in various events organized in St.-Petersburg: International economic forum, patriotic, ceremonial and anniversary events.
First collaboration between company and theatre corresponded with advertising on front of theatre: of world opening night of production by Sergey Banevich “The Secret Garden”. Innovative way of presenting of theatre advertising was noticed by theatre public and society.
For celebrating of 80th anniversary of Theatre of Musical Comedy company “Consource” prepared special present: for the first time in St.-Petersburg appeared video-scenery as one of the basic elements of stage design of festive Gala-concert.
Theatre hopes that such mutually beneficial collaboration will open new possibilities for use of new technologies in theatre art. |

submission of applications for 1 round of competition: till 15th of February 2010
Date of 1st round: 1st of March 2010
Place of 1st round in Russia:
Saint-Petersburg, State Theatre of Musical Comedy, Italyanskaya str. 13
2nd and 3rd rounds will be organized in Komarno (Slovakia)
Competition is organized in following categories:
prima donna, bon vivant, soubrette – buffo
Age limit: women – 18-30 years, men – 18-35 years
All the works are to be sung in an original singing voice, without use of microphones. |
